Questions about official Grayson County criminal records belong with the government office that created or keeps the source file. The contacts below separate Sheriff reports and bookings from misdemeanor and felony court records, Texas DPS histories, and city police reports. Grayson County Criminal History is privately operated and cannot accept or fulfill a public-information request.

This Is Not a Government Office. Grayson County Criminal History is a private reference. It cannot retrieve or correct records, perform an official check, or accept a Texas expunction filing.

Need an Official Record?

Send a Grayson County request to the custodian that holds that part of the record:

  • Felony case files: District Clerk search and copy requests, 200 S. Crockett St., Suite 120A, Sherman, TX 75090; county main line 903-813-4200; weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Arrest reports and Sheriff records: Grayson County Sheriff Records Division, 200 S. Crockett St., Suite 105A, Sherman, TX 75090; 903-813-4200 ext. 2295 or 2296; gcsopublicinfo@co.grayson.tx.us; weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Current county custody: use Texas VINE or call the Grayson County jail at 903-813-1456.
  • Texas criminal history: use the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division name search or fingerprint channel.
  • City incident reports: contact the Sherman, Denison, Van Alstyne, or other police agency that created the report.

Sheriff public-information requests must be in writing and specific. Court records do not use that route because the County and District Clerks maintain their own case files.
